Speaker

Chris Hamilton

Chris is married to Ann, and they have three daughters and seven grandchildren. They attend Grace Community Church, where they serve together in a singles ministry during the week, nursery on Sundays, and Chris serves as an elder. Chris is the president of an accounting and asset management firm. His work time is almost exclusively devoted to forensic accounting and litigation consulting.

He recognized his sin and need for salvation through the work of Jesus Christ when he was in 3rd grade after hearing a sermon about sin and hell. Since then, he continues to marvel in the knowledge that God saved him and the resulting blessing and joy of abiding in Christ. His favorite chapter in the Bible is Isaiah 40, and the motivation in ministry is that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God, and He is building His church, and the gates of Hell will never overpower it (Matt. 16:15-18).

On Sunday, we will have dinner together between the 3 pm and 6 pm sessions.

Can I bring my children?

Yes! We do not want lack of babysitters to be a hurdle that keeps families from attending the conference. You are welcome to keep your children in the sessions with you. Alternatively, we will have some youth and adult volunteers from the church who will run some child-centered activities outside the session. The church has a nursery available for any of the tiny ones who may need a place to wiggle and play. Teens are also welcome to attend the sessions as there will be lots of information applicable to them.

How long will each session be?

Most sessions will run for around 60-90 mins. Sessions will be recorded and will be made available online on the Squamish Baptist Church website.

Do I need to register for every session?

No! Completing the registration form once will give you access to every session, and you can attend as many or as few as you'd like. We would love to have you attend every session, but we understand that isn't possible for everyone.
